At this point, do I still have the option of filing Chapter 7?

It means the Plaintiff has dropped a party to the foreclosure. Why I cannot tell.
You always have the option of filing Chapter 7. But if you are going to do so, then do it soon. If you wait too long it may be too late to protect from some situations.
