Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

HOA lawsuit,/Do I Pay Half the legal Fees?

We received a notice of intent to file a lawsuit from our HOA lawyers regarding corrective action on part of our property that aligns our neighbor's driveway. It stipulates that we will be responsible for half of the legal fees if we go to court. Is this true? Also what Florida statute/law covers this?

A prevailing party in a lawsuit may be awarded attorney's fees. Most likely, your matter should be decided upon the HOA's governing documents which most likely has a proviso for attorney's fees. Look at it.
