housse in foreclosure

My house went into forclosure and has since been sold. Am I entiled to any of the equity in the house and if so how do I claim it?

Yes, if you were in title, you are entitled to any excess above the amounts owed to the lender and any costs incurred. You will need to file a Motion for Distribution of Surplus with the Clerk of the Court. The Court may impose a fee to reopen the file which should be $50.00.
