house sold with value put on furnishings. 6 weeks after closing buyer claims furnishings not worth value applied and agreed to. Buyer wants to give furnishings back to seller and get refund.

It is highly unlikely, subject to the terms of the contract, that any refund would be made.

The answer should be controlled by the language of the contract. I doubt the buyer will get a refund.
