Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My wife and I are looking at a forclosed property. We have been to the property and it is abandoned. Its is still active in the court system now. The homeowners have 3 foreclosure cases filed against them according to the clerk of the court website. We can see on this site that delivery of a summons has been attempted several times, but never served, it appears they cannot locate the homeowners? One of the cases is set for a purge hearing next month, what does this mean?

Thanks

You don't give enough information, but I believe you are referencing a hearing for the purpose of establishing a 'purge' amount that the defendant will owe to the city/county/etc.
