Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida

Hi,

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY,AND Supplemental Security Income.

ON SEPT 16 2010 I HAD A HEART ATTACH HAD EMT AT MY HOUSE THEY TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL,THE HOSPITAL WAS NOT EQUIPPED SO I WAS FLOWN TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL,WHERE THEY PUT TWO STENTS IN,I AM GOING BACK TO HAVE TWO MORE STENTS PUT IN ON OCT 19 2010.

MY QUESTION IS DOES THIS QUALIFY ME FOR S.S.D. OR SSI OR NOTHING. I AM A 54YR OLD MALE LIVE IN FLORIDA

Having the stents put in is not a prerequisite for SSI or SSD. Are you disabled and can not work as a result of the stents?
