Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Automobile Accident

In July, I was involved in a car accident. I had a left turn arrow, a man ran the red light from my right side, and collided with the front passenger side of my car. There are two witnesses on the police report saying that he ran the red light. My car was totaled, and I spent a few days (on seperate occasions) in the hospital for related injuries. I am now financially struggling due to my new car loan that I would not have had the accident not occured. I still have a few physical problems due to my injuries as well. How do I go about getting money from either him or his insurance to help me pay off my car?

I would hire an attorney and determine what if any insurance this other guy has, and or if you have un-insured motorist coverage.

If there is applicable insurance then an attorney can prepare a demand package and get you the $ that you deserve, if that doesn't work then the attorney can file suit.

given the severity of your injuries there should be plenty of money to take care of the new car.

If it looks like you have a good shot at a recovery, there are lending companies that will loan you cash while the case is pending.

My office is here in Broward, Give me a ring and we can discuss further.

Take care,

Re: Automobile Accident

You need to hire an attorney ASAP. There are many parts to Car Insurance policies. One called PIP pays for medical bills and lost wages and claims can be submitted against those portions of the policy right away, while bodily injury claims may take longer to settle or be awarded. A lawyer who specializes in Auto Accidents, like us, knows how to submitt the proper claims to get you money now and later to maximize your suit. Call today and set up an appointment. If you wait too long the money available to you for lost wages that you can put in your pocket, may go to pay for medical bills and therefore, you won't get anything that you can spend on your other expenses and needs. Get a good lawyer NOW.

Re: Automobile Accident

You should definitely consult with an attorney who is experienced in handling auto accident cases. In particular, you want to speak to someone who is board certified in civil trial law, as out the attorneys in our office. Most attorneys are not board certified. We offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to speak with you about the situation.
