Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Beneficiary died - do we need to make changes to our will?

My husband and I have Revocable Trusts. We have two beneficiaries - both sons. One son recently died. Is it necessary for us to have a codicil or can we just let this ride.

A codicil changes a will, not a trust. The answer depends on how it reads and yourcurrentintentions.

It depends on whether your trust already contemplated a beneficiary predeceasing. If not, then a Trust Amendment may be necessary.
