Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Cocidil to a Will

A friend of mine recently passed away. A few days before she died she told me she hand wrote a codicil to her will. I asked if she wanted it notorized, she said no. Is this acceptable in Florida?

Doesn't have to be notarized, but two witnesses are required to sign, all three signing in each other's presence.
