Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

death of a son

my 23yo son died recently, he had no assets other than an ongoing lawsuit. He had a living will which left me as his representative. I was also his agent on his power of attorney. How do I go about becoming his personal rep. for the lawsuit? In the living will he wanted me to be the on to take care of all his business in case of his death. Will this be enough for me to become his rep?

Advise your son's lawyer. He should know what to do.

You'll have to open a probate estate to take over the lawsuit.
