Domestic Partner

I was married to a man and we have 3 children. We are divoiced and he has now filed as domestic partner with another woman. what happens to the children in the event that he dies.

If he actually remarries, then the inheritance of the children will be dimmished. He needs to have a will if his intentions are any different, but you are not allowed to totally disinherit a spouse anyway so if he remarries, the inheritance will be affected.
