Do I need a Lawyer

My aunt passed away in Florida, I am in Michigan and Excutor of her will, she lived off 500.00 a month and had very little. HOW DO I GET INFORMATION FROM HER BANK AND FILE DEATH CERTIFICATE WITH OUT A LAWYER.aND WHAT ELSE NEEDS TO BE DONE, NOTICE SOCIAL SECURITY? AND WHO ELSE?

I do not think you will be able to probate the estate of your aunt without the help of an attorney. The first question then is will probate be required? Ask the bank if your aunt's bank account had a beneficiary or was payable on death to anyone. If that was the case then they should transfer the balance with a death certificate only. If there was no beneficary you will have to open probate to have any funds transferred to an heir. Social Security will usually withdraw from the deceased's bank account any monies owed to them without you taking any action.
