My mother passed away in 2005 and my sister failed to tell me claiming she didn't know how to contact me. She says my mother excluded me from the will in August of 2001. How can I find out if this is true and if it is do I have any recourse?

The will should be filed at the court house. I am not sure I would blame your sister. You could have called mom every now and then.

Get a copy of the will from the probate court in the area where your mother lived.
