Is it necessary to record a trust wit a government agency?

No. But you must record a Certificate of Trust or Memorandum of Trust in some cases.

Generally, a Florida Revocable Trust does not need to be recorded with a government agency. There is a document called a Notice of Trust. That document is filed with the Probate Court when the

Settlor of the trust dies. Its purpose is to inform the court that there is a trust in existence to pay estate expenses, if any.
