Last Will Intestament

My father passed in 1994. His attorney's never contacted about his will. How do I get a copy of this document

Re: Last Will Intestament

Initially, I would write the attorney requesting that the attorney file the Will with the Court or deliver the original will to you to allow you to file it. Keep a copy and send the letter certified mail, return receipt requested.

If you have already tried this or if you do not receive a reply, there is a specific proceeding you can start in Court to discover the whereabouts of a will. You should have some proof that this attorney has possession of the Will.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to e-mail me your telephone number.

It should have been filed in the court records where he died. Send a letter to the lawyer asking for a copy.
