will vs living trust

1. Aside from obvious signature, what makes a will legal, binding, official? Is it notarized? 2. who keeps it safe prior to death? 3.When do you file a copy with county courthouse?

What makes a will valid fills up pages of law books. There is a famous case of a will written on the wall of (i think) the person's bedroom!

It does need to be witnessed. It need not be kept at the court house. Anyone can keep it.

They are not at all expensive any more. You should see a lawyer and get a simple one drawn up.
