Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Will, probate, estate

My mother in law passed away last month. She had a Will naming my wife executor, she had a house with a mortgage with my wife as joint tenant and her name on the deed, IRA split between her & her sibling, life ins with my wife as sole beneficiary, car left to her sibling with clear tiltle/no lien 12 yrs old, all other assets left to my wife ie: contents of house etc, House valued under $60,000. My question is, Does her estate have to go thru probate, do we need to report her death to probate. My mother in law and we reside in Florida. We're ready to sell the house. Also have permission to sell the car for her brother, any legal issues with that.
