Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I am 22 years old and have recently been injured at work. I work at a daycare and was instructed by the Owner/Director to heat candle wax on the stove as one part of a summer project. After removing the wax from the stove I placed a paint brush into the bowl and it flipped over on my right hand. I was rushed to a local CentraCare. I was initially diagnosed with 1st degree burns. After my 3rd visit to the doctor in 5 days it was changed to 2nd degree and possibly 3rd. I am now to see a burn specialist and all of my medical bills are being covered by Worker's Comp. However I have lost hours and money as a result of the injury. I am unable to do everyday tasks as I am right-handed and have become very depressed and self-conscious. I feel a tingling feeling in my hand constantly and will most likely suffer a permanent scar. Is there any way that I can get a settlement out of this situation?

Under Florida law you are eligible for payment of your medical bills and lost wages if you are unable to work and money based upon impairment rating you. In addition, it is possible to enter into a full, final and complete settlement of your case including future medical care. You need to consult with an attorney as soon as possible.
