Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Does an attorney have to identify himself and who he represents when contacting a witness

a workers comp attorney called me at work, and did not tell me he represented Verizon. he said I am working on the case with ms jones against Verizon. I gave him information which put me at risk for being fired because it showed that his client was lying I was fired when the case got close to going to court. if i had known he was working for Verizon I would not have given him as much information I told him the client was lying ( he failed to interview any of the people that actually witnessed it)

Sounds like he misrepresented to you whom he worked for and I feel this is a violation of ethics. You can file a bar complaint against him if you wish.
