purchasing property abroad

I'm trying to research foreign ownership of property in France, Italy, Germany, Canada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Are there local forms of entity that are suitable for a foreign owner to use when buying property? Where can I find this information

You should retain counsel in those countries as to how to take ownership. It will differ by country.
