cancel a contract
how long does the purchaser of a automobile have to cancel the contract. i have always heard its 3 days.

The contract you signed states the terms of your agreement. If it has a time to cancel, which would be very unusual, that will answer your question. That is why one should read and understand all contracts prior to signing. The "three day rule" is a myth (except for a very few specific types of agreements).
