8 years from the date you filed your case in Illinois, assuming you want to file Ch 7. 4 years if you want to file a Chapter 13 case. If you need assistance, please visit my web site at www.4georgiabankruptcy.com

Re: bankruptcy

The time is 8 years from the date you filed your case in Illinois, if you want to file Chapter 7 and your prior case was a Chapter 7.

In most cases, the period is 4 years if you want to file a Chapter 13 case.

You can get a free worksheet and more information at www.glenashman.com. I'd be glad to assist you if you're near or in Atlanta or its suburbs.
