Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

I paid an attorney in Peachtree City a lofty sum of money to file a business bankruptcy case for a sole proprietorship as well as child support modification case in November 2009. Though both cases are very straight forward, nothing has been done beyond filing the initial paperwork for the bankruptcy. He has collected money for disbursement to various creditors which was never paid to them. In addition, he has failed to provide the IRS and court appointed trustee with documentation that has been repeatedly requested from him. The court appointed trustee is now threatening to close the case due to his in action. After numerous unanswered pleas for action from myself and others, I need to examine my options for terminating the client-attorney relationship as his lack of actions is causing me a great deal of additional strife ~ both legal and financial. Please advise on how to terminate the relationship and possibly recoup the thousands dollars paid for little OR no work.
