Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I am seeking grounds of breaking a notarized contract.

I joined a business with an acquinatance and we have a contract she made and had notarized. It states the we will be business partners of a year etc. Anyway I am problems with a lot of her business practices; so is there any reason tha I can legally break this contract.

No one can guess what you mean by "business partners," or what is included in the "etc." No one here can guess what your problems or her business practies are. The fact that it is notarized likely has no significance at all. See a lawyer who can read the contract and get more than a couple sentences of information.

Generally, you can only terminate a contract in accordance with some termination/cancellation provisions or possibly if the other party has breached first. Have a local business attorney review the contract and all relevant facts to get a comprehensive answer.
