Hard Drive Searches

In order for an investigator to examine a computer hard drive,must he have a search warrant to examine it at the local library,in addittion to having to have a court order to open up the hard drive for examination? Thank you.Eric

Is that a question. It sounds like misstatement of the law, although I am not a Georgia lawyer. I cannot imagine that Georgia law would require an investigator to take a hard drive to a local library to check it. Also, a search warrant is a court order, so I do not understand the distinction supposedly being made between the two.
