aaccident and car insurance

If a person is in an accident and have no car insurance and the driver of the other car does and there insurance company pay to have there vehical fix, do the other person who do not have insurance have to reinburse that insurance company?

An uninsured driver who is at fault is very likely to be sued by the insurer that pays. They also can get the person's license suspended until the damages are repaid (or until there is a bankruptcy).
