Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Damage to property

A local car wash service severely damaged my passenger driver side door- it needs to be replaced at a cost of $1549.00 per the estimate. The person I'm dealing with- claims to own the building and not the business, however, it seems her husband is listed as the CEO of the co. on the Secretary of State website, which lists them as ''in compliance.'' I have filed a complaint with the local BBB as they are stalling and not being forthcoming in paying for the damages. What should my next step be, since all this talk is getting me nowhere???

Re: Damage to property

This is not likely the type thing the BBB can help with. You probably will have to file a small claims lawsuit in magistrate's court.
