My contractor (after talking for one year) has failed to complete a sun room. Can I put a lein against his house and/or property?

Have you successfully sued him and won a judgment? If yes, you can levy on his property (amongst other remedies).

If the answer is no, you cannot because you have not taken the appropriate legal steps.

This is a situation where you need to see a lawyer ASAP.

You cannot place a lien on the contractor's property. However, you can sue the contractor for breach of contract. Depending on the value of the contract and your damages, you can sue in small claims court yourself or hire an attorney.
