You may have been the victim of sewer service. In other words, the process server doesn't really serve the person, but simply throws it away.

You need to file a motion to open the judgment against you. This needs to be done immediately. You should obtain a copy of the return of service that is required to be filed in the clerk's office.

You should also file an objection to the garnishment.

If there is a substantial judgment, you should hire an attorney to resolve this issue.
