Re: False Statement

If the warrant has already issued and bond has been made, the first step would be to see if the court would grant a preliminary hearing even though bond has been posted. If not, a pre-arrest hearing or preliminary hearing should allow you to have the charges dropped if there truly is no basis for the charges.

Even if the court finds probable cause, it will allow you to develop the case for purposes of a trial.
