Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

i was locked up on 12/27/2011, for violation of probation. I met the requirements and was released the same day. Then, on 12/28/2011, the county jail calls my house telling me, that they forgot to get me to sign my release papers on the charge that happened on 12/27/2011, so they needed me to come to the jail and sign the papers. On my arrival at the jail on 12/28/2011, they tell me to follow them to the back to sign the papers. When i get back there they lock me up for a child suppot warrant. Can they do that?

Of course. If you have a warrant, you get arrested and put in jail.
