Possession of marijuana, misdemeanor, no seatbelt ticket, passenger, State of Georgia. What is the maximum penality allowed by law?

Possession under one ounce - maximum is $1000 fine plus court surcharges (which can be several hundred dollars) plus one year in jail plus loss of Ga. driver's license.
Seat belt - $15 (if an adult)
