Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

How do I prove my stuff is mine?

Okay, I'm moving out of my moms house, "I'm 18 btw" and my mom is trying to say the stuff I bought with my own money is not mine and it's hers and might call the police.

I might call the police because she has a lot of my valuables that my dad gave me "who is dead now".

Well with out a receipt, how do I prove that my stuff is my own? and how do I prove the stuff my dad gave me is mine? "she wasn't married to him" .

Also, would she prove anything as well?

It's basically

"he says, she says." thing.

Yeah, so if it's her word against my word what happens?

Do I get to keep my stuff or does she get to keep it?

No one has receipts for anything, except I have my receipt to my laptop and that's about it.

You have two choices. You can keep the peace with youtr family and leave things behind. Or you can spend money and sue your mom in court and let a judge decide. That may be an expensive battle and you have no guarantee of winning.

The police cannot referee a property dispute. The best you might accomplish is getting arrested.
