Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Appeal of a Final Order of Child Custody & Suppot

My husband recently won his custody case for his son. The mother actually agreed in front of the judge to give custody to him & pay child support. She now appears to be regretting that decision & has bounced her 1st child support check. Is there a statute of limitations on when she can file an appeal- or if an appeal is even possible in her case? His attorney said 15 days from the date the final order was signed by the judge (which we've gone over.) She's already retained a lawyer & had tried to send a letter to the judge asking her not to sign the order. I'm in GA. Thank you!

Re: Appeal of a Final Order of Child Custody & Suppot

Since your husband apparently already has a lawyer, I would defer to his advice, seeing as how he is already familiar with the case.
