Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child visitation

What rights do I have if my exhusband will not let me see my son. The divorce decree said I could have him 7 out of 14 days, but my husband will not let me have him? Who do I consult about this matter, the judge, police, etc.?

Re: child visitation

You can take him to court for being in contempt of the divorce decree. Consult with a local attorney.

Re: child visitation

You probably need to file a motion for contempt. If he has violated visitation frequently, it may be enough to change custody. You need to review the case with a family law attorney to discuss your options.
