Does Ga have a law saying how long or in what time frame an attorney should file on after receiving a retainer?

Georgia does not have a specific law on the subject. However, the attorney, once retained, should file an entry with the Court and opposing counsel sooner rather than later. It is possible your attorney could be working on your case without filing an entry, so long as the attorney is aware of any and all prending court dates.
