mother leaveing state with 2 yr old
the mother left home with a 2 yr old & 4 yr old. the 4 yr old is home with dad, but feel she is going to go to Texas with daughter. there is no divorce or custody now. Can she leave the state with child ?

In the absence of a court order, she can take the child. You should ASAP file for divorce and get a Mutual Restraining Order (you can do this when you file). This will order her not to take the child out of the court's jurisdiction. If she does, you can get her for contempt.
