moving out of state

I have primary custody of my 9 year old son, i am also remairred, now my husband of 5 years has been told that is company wants to transfer him to another state. Is there anything that we need to be concerned with regarding this matter.

Re: moving out of state

The biological father cannot stop your husband from moving out of state, but he can object to your son being moved out of state if it will disrupt his visitation. There is certain factors the court looks out regarding removal of the child for employment purposes.

Also, if there is a custody order, see if the order addresses this issue.

You didn't say if the biological father will object to the move. If the order doesn't address moving the child out of state and the biological father does not object to the move, you may not have a problem.
