Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I may be served a subpoena in Georgia for family court. My girlfriend is going through a custody/child support battle. We have been dating for about 2.5 years, and on occasion, I take her little girl out to buy presents or to the movies, or even just babysitting. What can I expect (will documents get subpoena'd also?) and what preparations should I make? I have no criminal record and don't do drugs. I served in the military for 10 years, and am currently a student at the local university.

First of all, you don't have a legal issue at all. You haven't been subpoenaed yet, so until you are, don't even think about it.

If you are, you address whatever comes up when it comes up. There is obviously no way to prepare for something that does not exist.
