If a woman has a misdeamenor for shoplifting and wants a divorce does that mean she can't get custody of her daughter?

You asked the wrong question.

The fact that you asked it online tells me that you have made two mistakes that could (1) land you in jail and (2) cost you custody.

You need a lawyer for both the divorce and the shoplifting case. While a criminal case does not mean you WILL lose custody it certainly can affect the decision. And not having a lawyer tends to affect the result. Get a lawyer (for both cases).
