Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Had 2007 car "repaired" at dealership for $985 for car overheating. Two days and a few miles later car overheard again. Return car to

dealership and the diagnose another problem and say it will cost $900 to repair. Service mgr does not agree that it I'd the dealerships fault for the original repairs which did not fix the problem and caused further damage and repair costs. Can I get my money back in Georgia?

If you can find an experienced auto mechanic willing to testify in court for you, your odds improve. Proving such a case is difficult.

If you really think the dealer screwed up start by talking to the owner. If that fails, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Georgia state Office of Consumer Affairs.

If that fails, sue them in Magistrates Court as a small claim.

And, it goes without saying, get your car repaired elsewhere. Do not go anywhere that does not have an A or better from the Better Business Bureau (many dealers and other repair sites do not).
