Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I have completed a first offenders act probation and all fines and my case has been completed. My employer after two years has decided to do background checks and require all employees to have license to broker insurance. I applied for a state issued license for insurance and reported due to question on application that I have filed have had a first offenders case. I have been denied the license for moral turpitude which will affect my continued employment. Should I have even reported it and also can they deny the license if the case has been completed. Case is for theft.

No one here knows what was asked and you did not tell us. The answer is going to be the same for just about all similar questions, whether it is job applications or anything else. You can either answer the questions honestly and deal with the consequences, or you can be dishonest and lie on an application, in which the end result is almost always going to be immediate termination when caught (or revocation of any license).
