Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Flame Retardand Work Clothing

If we the manufacturer of work clothing have certified test results from the fabric mill regarding each lot delivered to us, is it feasable to also keep records regarding the style/lot number the fabric was used on. One of our mills does not have indelible markings of their lot number on the fabric. The other mill stamps their lot number on the reverse side of the fabric. I ask this in the event there is a liability issue after we market the goods to customers.

Your post is not clear about what you are asking. You ask whather it is feasible to keep records, but that is not a legal question and only you know whether it is feasible to keep the records. If you meant to ask whether the company is more protected with better records, then yes, it is generally better (for several reasons) to maintain full and complete records on all business matters.
