Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

liability

my husband has been contacted by a law firm. recently a building burned and they are trying to determine who is at fault. my husband cleans the vent hood in the kitchen. they have decided it could be his fault. he has been cleaning the facility for approx one year. cause of fire has not been determined. what kind of attorney do we need to seek. my husband cleans as a side job .. no insurance coverage. the facility was aware of this from the beginning.

Assuming you are talking about civil liability for possible negligent hood cleaning (vs. arson), it would be wise for your husband to retain an attorney who has experience defending such law suits. They might be less willing to include him in a law suit if he is represented beforehand.
