Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I paid a judgement 21 months ago to my former landlord. She never contacted the court to let them know I paid. (I tried several times to contact her and let her know that I needed her to contact the court.) She has yet to do it and we are going on 22 months now. I have tried several times to find an apartment but have been turned down because the court has not been notified. All places say I would have been approved if that was taken care of. The court will not do anything unless she reports to them. I cant find a place to live. Do I have recourse through suing or something? This has cost me several hundred so far as well as a lot of time. Please let me know if I can do something and if an attorney is needed.

At the time you settled she should have asked for and been given you a copy of the judgment fi fa marked paid so you could record it. Did you not do that?
