Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

Hello. I've filed adjustment of status form I-485 and now I received a Request of Evidence letter asking to submit a tax return form for the most recent tax year (2011). The situation is, my husband(sponsor) didn't work in the year 2011, didn't have any income and hence, didn't submit any tax return (and he didn't apply for any unemployed compensations either). What should I reply to USCIS for the Request of Evidence letter?

You'll need to find a co-sponsor & have them complete a new form & submit their tax return & W-2s. Please refer to www.uscis.gov & click on "forms". Then review the filing instructions for the I-864, I-864A & related forms for a Family Based case.
