Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

Legal advice for US baby born, mexican parents

Good morning, my wife and I are Mexicans but have an american citizen baby, that was born during our last vacations in the US. We make several trips to the US both for business and vacations purposes (we have some investments both in the US and in Mexico), We do not want to risk the babys citizenship, so we want to go back to Mexico and come to the US the most legal ways. Can you tell us what is the best way to exit and reenter the US, like two mexican parents and american baby or as complete mexican family, or what is your advice?

Is there any legal document my wife can get so she can raise her baby in the US? Thank you in advance for the help.

Re: Legal advice for US baby born, mexican parents

Although your child is a US citizen, your child does not transfer any immigration benefits to you until the child turns 21 years old. There are many family based and employment based visas that allow people to live and work in the US legally. We are happy to discuss these options with you in an initial consultation. We can consult over the phone or in person. As you may know, US immigration law is federal law. This means the immigration law is the same no matter where you are in the US. Any competent and experienced immigration lawyer can help you. Feel free to call our office to talk about your options in more detail.
