Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I have been accused of not renewing a license required to do a medical job. I completed my application for renewal online on the last day possible which fell on a weekend.The licensing authority did not update it's website until the day after my license would have expired however my license was cosiderd in good standing by them from the day I completed my application. My employer has accused me based only on the incorrect website info that was only posted for one day and refuses to call to validate my claim. I have called myself and been told there was never any lapse in my license by their records and that my employer is mistaken. What can I do?

You can probably do nothing, but you didn't even tell us whether or not the employer did anything as a result of their belief you did not renew. All we know is that the employer accused you of no renewing. And??
