Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I have discussed other internal positions with a supervisor (employed in GA), which is part of applying for internal positions. However, I have not resigned. This employer is interviewing others for my current position. I have not been reprimanded, put on probation, nor have I had any corrective action taken in my current position. Do I have any recourse to keep my position?
