If an employer requires a non-compete clause as a condition of employment, "during and for one year after employment", does this hold up legally under Georgia's right to work laws?

If the non-competition clause is reasonable in duration, geographic scope and activities scope, then it may very well be enforceable. Such contracts are extremely fact specific, so I would recommend you check with a local attorney for an opinion if it is an issue with you.
